The Nate Saint House
The Nate Saint house, located in Shell, Ecuador, was rebuilt the summer of 2010. Termites and environmental damage had almost destroyed this house that is dear to our hearts – those of us who know the story. To learn more about this story that made front page news around the world, click here.
With the partnership and endorsement of Mission Aviation Fellowship, Fuel the Mission restored this beloved house that still draws Christians from all corners of the globe. As many of the original materials as possible were used – wood, metal, windows and hardware.
From John Boyd, President & CEO of MAF: “Thank you for the outstanding job that Fuel the Mission did on the rebuild of the MAF/Nate Saint house in Shell, Ecuador. From the pictures and videos that I’ve seen, Fuel the Mission did a magnificent job with the renovation of the house…It would be my prayer and desire that this house will continue to stand as a testimony to God’s work among all the people of the world…MAF thanks Fuel the Mission for your perseverance and dedication to the rebuild of this iconic house.”
Montebello Academy
We enjoyed the privilege of partnering with the ministry of It’s About Kids in order to help make the vision of a school come true. In the summer of 2006, we spent five months in a small town outside Quito with Ron and Sharon Stiff, and their 12 adopted children. Chris worked with a team of Ecuadorian architects and craftsmen to design and build a school that today holds 300+ students.
