A.T. and Crystal Holder have seen God’s hand over and over again in Ecuador during the first quarter of the year. A.T. is on the job-site daily, overseeing the construction of the Girls’ Home alongside the architect and crew. Utilizing the building practices of Ecuador yet sensitive to budget concerns and safety issues, A.T. has managed the process while learning to trust God for the outcome. The home stands as a sentinel already to the magnificence and sovereignty of God over His children.
Crystal stepped up to assume more responsibility with the Dunamis Foundation’s programming when the program director took several months off to care care for her family after the death of her father. Crystal has shared daily devotionals and art projects with the girls, as well as developed safety and administrative protocols for visiting teams and for the resident home. Working behind the scenes, Crystal brings intense love, humility and willingness to stretch (while still learning Spanish) and serve behind-the-scenes.
This young couple appreciates your prayer support as well, as they are planning to return to the States this summer for a sabbatical. Not only are they expecting their first baby, they are prayerfully considering where the Lord wants to use them next. To support A.T. and Crystal, please make your gifts payable to Fuel the Mission with “Rise Up” in the memo.
